GroundEd is a Therapeutic, Work Based Learning Provider offering Engagement and Accreditation to young people 14-25 years of age.
GroundEd specializes in post 16 education and qualifications in Land Based Studies, Agriculture and Horticulture for learners facing various barriers in accessing mainstream Further Education Settings.
Overview
GroundEd was set up in 2013 by Tas and Jac Stamatopoulos to offer young people opportunities for out of classroom learning. At GroundEd young people learn in an outdoor, practical working environment given the chance to be successful and experience achievement.
Tas and Jac have experience in Agriculture and a long history of working with young people who experience difficulties in their learning. We decided to dedicate our farm and the animals on it to showing young people the secrets of Land Based Work.
GroundEd has evolved into a local work based learning provider offering vocational Level 1 and Level 2 Qualifications in Land Studies, Agriculture and Horticulture to young
people aged 14 and over.
